Best MTZ-762 Loadout in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone

It may not be the best BR but it still packs a punch.

Battle Rifles are a class of weapon that were meant to be single-shot rifles, but in recent times have been moved to be Assault Rifles in all but name. Let’s take a look at the best MTZ-762 loadout in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone to see if that still holds true.

Best MTZ-762 Attachments

The MTZ-762 spent most of its life overshadowed by the MTZ Interceptor, a disgustingly powerful Marksman Rifle that ruled for the majority of pre-season and season 1 of Warzone. Now that we enter Season 2, the MTZ Interceptor has been dealt with and new weapons can emerge to fill the power vacuum.

The MTZ-762 has a comparable TTK with the BAS-B, another supremely powerful weapon in the early life of Warzone, but has a similar accuracy issue that requires attention. With some choice attachments, we can shore up the MTZ-762’s weakness while improving its strengths to make it a worthy weapon to pick up.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Muzzle: JAK BFB
  • Barrel: MTZ-Precision Blackthorn Barrel
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Magazine: 30 Round Magazine
  • Stock: EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock

Since the JAK BFB is a monster at reducing recoil, we can use this attachment to bring the MTZ-762’s kick under control. To complement that increase in control we pair it up with the EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock for better recoil and control in exchange for some mobility.

For an increase in range and damage, we use the MTZ-Precision Blackthorn Barrel, making sure that each shot we take hits hard regardless of the range. This barrel allows us to engage enemies across vast distances and dish out some devastating damage.

Our optic of choice is the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x since it’s a clean sight that offers an uncluttered view of your opponent’s skull. Finally, we use the 30-round magazine to ensure we don’t run out of ammunition. It’s simply a must-have in the Warzone environment.

Best MTZ-762 Perks

Our perks are recommended for Warzone in general but you can swap out perks for your preferred loadout, but for those wondering what a good perk package looks like, read on.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Perk 3: Tempered
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Reloading faster is a solid pick for perk slot 1, especially for those running larger weapons in one or both slots, like sniper rifles. Double Time is a must-have in Warzone, especially with the long sightlines and the high mobility META.

Tempered offers us a unique ability to plate up 33% quicker than opponents while needing almost 33% fewer plates than any other squad. You’ll find so much more bag space for other gadgets like smokes or grenades. Finally, High Alert is an underestimated perk that gives you information, saves your life, and can help you clutch a fight.

Best MTZ-762 Attachments

The MTZ-762 is a high-powered battle rifle that struggles to land its damage due to its unpredictable and bouncy recoil. To fix this issue we have to spend a decent amount of attention and make some sacrifices to bring the MTZ-762 under control.

Activision has sought to release a constant stream of Aftermarket Perks that can alter the entire identity of a weapon and in some cases turn a completely forgotten gun into a meta-defining one. Thankfully, the MTZ-762 has access to a conversion kit that turns it into a controllable carbine.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Muzzle: JAK BFB
  • Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: MTZ Marauder’s Stock
  • Conversion Kit: JAK Heretic Carbine Kit

Recoil control is the utmost priority with this weapon, so we utilize the amazing JAK BFB which almost entirely nullifies recoil on its own. However, this muzzle comes with the downside of slower ADS speed and damage nerf which we think is overall positive to the MTZ-762.

The XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop is the perfect mobility increase, allowing faster ADS speeds while helping slightly with control. We pair this with the MTZ Marauder’s Stock which further improves our mobility and movement to match faster weapons in the META.

Finally, we have the JAK Heretic Carbine Kit, which turns this Battle Rifle into an Assault Rifle through and through. We lose some damage due to this change but receive a higher rate of fire, easier control with recoil reduction, and superior handling.

Best MTZ-762 Perks

MW3’s perks are the cherry on top of our loadout, helping to strengthen our weapon’s weaknesses or prop up our positives. Since the MTZ-762 is an Assault Rifle hybrid, we want to equip body armor that will help it thrive in multiplayer.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Vest: Infantry Vest
  • Gloves: Quick Grip Gloves
  • Boots: Climbing Boots
  • Gear: Tac Mask

For high mobility we use the Infantry Vest, allowing us to sprint throughout the maps with faster Tac Sprint. The best gloves in the game are undoubtedly the Quick Grip Gloves. They allow you to swap to your sidearm at a moment’s notice, often resulting in scoring a kill when it would otherwise be your death. Climbing Boots are perfect for increasing your mobility to allow faster rotations through vertical angles you may not have had access to before. Finally, the Tac Mask gives you much-needed safety against Flashbang/Concussion equipment.

And there you have it, the?best MTZ-762 Loadout for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
